This is to REMIND all cadets of the resumption dates for the First and Third Semesters 2024/2025 Academic Session. As contained in the 2025 Academic Calendar, the newly admitted ND I and HND I cadets as well as returning HND II cadets are to resume on Sunday 19th January, 2025 while the ND II cadets currently on SIWES exercise are to resume on Sunday 6th April 2025. Cadets are to note that lectures and other Academic activities will commence immediately after the respective resumption dates and failure to resume on time will attract commensurate sanctions in line with the Cadets’ Standing Orders Section 0411.1, which stipulates that “cadets are expected to return to the Academy from breaks/holidays/leaves on the promulgated date. Late reporting will attract commensurate sanctions as deemed necessary”. Cadets are to further note that “absence from the Academy for up to 6 days will attract minor sanction” as stated in the Cadets Standing Orders Section 1306.17 while “absence from the Academy for 7 days and above without permission will attract disenrollment/suspension as stated in Section 1306.13” of the Cadets’ Standing Orders (See Section 0413.4). All cadets are to be guided accordingly.
