QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT

The Maritime Academy of Nigeria is committed to consistently providing the merchant navy, the maritime industry and allied industries with high quality education and training that accord with up-to-date technology, meet national and international standards and satisfy or exceed customer expectations.

To meet the objectives of the Quality Policy:

• We shall provide innovative maritime education and training programmes that satisfy national and international standards and comply with statutory requirements
• We shall actively and continually pursue quality improvements that consistently meet the needs of our customers through the use of documented and approved procedures that enable our employees to perform their duties right, the first time.
• We shall create an environment where student success, development and career opportunities are accorded first considerations.
• We shall utilize up-to-date technology, provide adequate resources and train and involve employees at all levels for the efficient performance of their functions.
• We are committed to ensuring the continual improvement of the quality of maritime education and training through feedback mechanism and implementation of corrective actions.
• We shall establish, implement and continually improve a Quality Management System in line with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 Standard and any other selected standard.

Management will ensure that the established Quality Policy and quality objectives are communicated, understood and maintained at all levels.
