The philosophy is to train competent Marine Engineers officers in line with international best practices. The programme combines theoretical, analytical and laboratory work so that the graduates will fit into shore and off-shore Maritime Engineering work. A large part of the programme is built around IMO models which combine Merchant – Navy Training and other safety Mandatory training so that on graduation, the graduates can work under pressure and difficult conditions obtainable at sea.
